About Celebration of Change

Celebration of Change 'Masqueerade':  March 27, 2010 at the Wilda Marston Theatre 7pm. Tickets will be $15 and on sale at Metro and GLCCA February 14.

Get Involved:  Radical Arts for Women invites all women to showcase their talents at Celebration of Change on March 27 at the Wilda Marston Theatre. Celebration welcomes singers, dancers, poets, actors, comedians and more. Choreograph a crazy crew of fabulous females for the Celebration of Change Opening Number. First-time performers are encouraged to apply.

Announcement:

The Radical Woman Award honors women who have made significant contributions to the GLBT community in Alaska. Past winners include the fabulous Phyllis Rhodes, ME Rider, Barbara Soule, and Victoria Shaver. Please nominate a wonderful woman in your life. Send a short paragraph highlighting her contributions to info@radicalartsforwomen.org by March 1. Winner will be announced at Celebration of Change.

 

 

 

 

It is saddened to say that the Women's Music Festival will not be coming to Alaska this year. If you have any ideas and are really interested in making this happen in the future then please contact Emily Craver for more information.

Celebration of Change is the annual fundraiser for Radical Arts for Women (RAW), a Lesbian and Feminist philanthropic organization that funds Alaskan women art projects. It is respectfully an all-women produced and performed show aimed to give Alaskan women a venue to learn skills in event production and encourage their individual artistic talents. First time volunteers & performers encouraged to apply!
